What Do Pain And Swelling In The Hip Joints Indicate?

i just had hip replacement surgery. is it common to have a high level of pain and some swelling at the new joint area. as directed i try to keep moving but the pain level is higher today (5-days in) then it was the first couple of days. just concerned.

dear sir. kindly meet the Orthopaedician and get an x Ray or an ultrasound to look for any abnormalities like minor bleedings. if nothing s there on xray r usg. just a pain killer wld suffice n pain I'll take some time to reduce. thank u
