What Do Pain And Swelling In The Right Thigh Indicate?

I have been dealing with a dull ache in my right thigh for three years. It is only when I sit. The muscles feel really tight and it appears that my thigh is swelled and sometimes warm to the touch. It has really started bothering me the last month as I fell on the ice and must of irritated it even more.
