What Do Pain And Swelling On The Tip Of The Thumb Indicate?

Having pain in top of r thumb, happened after bowling, unable to do thumbs up or bend thumb downward, pain radiates sometimes to arm and to index finger, Thumb swells at intervals, MD said it is nerve damage, how would they know when all I had was an x ray of my hand

According to you symptoms its mostly like nerve damage or pressure symptoms and if your x-ray is clear then I suggest you to take a consultation with an orthopedician
Mean while I advise you to take T.Hifenac D BD(twice daily after food) for 3 days
