What Do Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Frequent Urination Indicate?

I have a pain on my lower left side radiates from the front (where my ovary use to be, I had a total hysterectomy 8 years ago) to my left hip area. I’ve been urinating frequently and for the last 2 days haven’t been able to hold my urine at least twice

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking. Iu derstand your concern.
Your have symptoms of cystitis following ureteritis . Could be due to renal or ureteric stone/infection of bladder ,ureters.
Urine examination ..routine /culture &sensitivity &xray abdomen are the usual investigations needed.
Cystone pills over the counter taken with a glass of water 2-3times a day after food would give some relief before you see expert.
A course of antibiotic ( Doxycycline/Norfloxin ) with bladder pain reliever like Phenazopyridine are usual prescription given.
You need to have consultation of a kidney specialist for more peronised advise after physicsl examination.&needful investigations.
Thanks.
