What Do Painful And Itchy Lumps On The Feet Indicate?

I m suffering from RA for last 15 years. I also develop lumps in my feet which are painful and itchy but after taking Cetrizine & Zerodol P for 2-3 days , they disappear but appear again after few days. I have been on biological treatment - injection Enbrel 50 mg (Etanarcept) & also on Methotrexate 15 mg weekly for the last 10 years. I had my blood test today which indicated mild Eosinophilia ( Eosinphilis 7.4 and Lymphocytes 44.40 ) I wanted to ask is it a cause of worry ?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

I would explain that these blood lab tests finding are indicative of an allergic reaction.

The fact that your symptoms are relieved by Cetirizine is another argument in favor of an allergic reaction.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with an allergy specialist and performing blood and skin allergy tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
