I have no history of breast cancer in my family only thyroid disease at this time I m experiencing swollen lymphnodes under my arm which become painful to the touch personal doctor said it was fatty tissue, I ve lost 15 pounds since and pain persists and does not seem to go away, I have my yearly mammo and they cannot find anything unusual
Thanks for posting your question on HCM! I appreciate your concern for the painful lymphnodes in the armpit. Following data is missing: Age, duration of your present problem, any fever ? In view of the painful lymphnodes with fever and loss of weight, I am of the opinion that you are having some chronic infection involving lymphnodes. Kindly consult your doctor to rule out Tuberculosis or other conditions having similar problems.
Take care,
