The two lines that run parallel under my tongue, one of them has split and is causing me a lot of pain. No swelling or bruising and I can t remember it happening but the past week under my tongue has been very painful and I took a look tonight and one of these lines seems to have split. Will it heal soon? Thank you
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The two line below the tongue or floor of the mouth can be because of the sublingual veins. The pain can be because of the ulcer secondary to tooth brush injury or a stone in the salivary gland duct which is causing damage to the mucosa. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can use topical anesthetic like lignocaine and topical analgesic like choline salicylate. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
