What Do Pea-sized Lumps In The Vaginal Opening Indicate?

Hi. I have two pea size fleshy lumps in my vaginal opening(not on the side but almost covering the hole. They don t hurt or burn when I urinate but they are bothersome and o can feel a sort of itchy anoying sensation. I have experienced unusual white milky discharge. I am sexually active but I have been having sex with the same two boys since December of 2015. I am really scared and am hoping it is just a cyst that will go away please help me

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
What problem you could be having of pea sized lumps inside vagina is 'Bartholin's cyst'. It is a cystic inflammation of glands inside vagina called 'Bartholin's glands'.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Clean the area with mild antiseptic solution like Povidine-iodine solution twice daily.
2. Take antiinflammatory-analgesic medication like Ibuprofen after food.
3. Take a course of antibiotics containing Amoxacillin and Clavulenic acid.
4. Take Sitz bath twice daily.
5. Abstain from sexual activities till the lumps reduce in size completely.
By above measures, the lump should start to subside by 3 to 5 days.
In case the lump recurs or does not subside, you may have to undergo a procedure called 'marsupialization'. Kindly consult Gynecologist for further evaluation and management.
