What Do Pregnancy Symptoms, Brown Spotting And High Prolactin Levels Suggest?
Hi, my period was due on the 1st april but 4 days early i had brown spotting which turned to light pink. The next day was like a light period and the next 2 days after that was spotting. On the day my period was due there was nothing and the day after that i had brownish spotting in the afternoon.
My periods r normally regular and usually last 6-7 days.
I did a pregnancy test which was negative and after blood tests from my gp they told me i have high prolactin levels.
I have had my symptoms for over 3 weeks which are: random nausea, headaches, bloating, frequent urination, sore/sensitive nipples (sometimes) and stomach twinges/cramps.
Could i still be pregnant even though the pregnancy tests are negative?
Thank you for contact to Health Care Magic.I don't think that you are pregnant, these symptoms can happen due hormonal dysbalance. You should check your FSG and estradiol level also. If you have low level of estrogens it can happen. I suggest - 1.Drink plenty of water 2. Eat products with fitoestrogens: dal, rajma, peas, boiled water from flax seeds, boiled water from peels of onion, turmeric powder and etc. 3.Consult your gynaecologist and discuss hormonal replacement therapy. Take care!
