What Do Presence Of Spots In A Head MRI Report Suggest?

My son has played a lot of football and had a few Head injuries, Jayden was suffering from headache so we where told a MRI would be a good thing to do this was 12mths ok. Jayden Had 4 spots on the brain one about the size of a 5 cents coin. and a couple around it. the neurologist said to stop football and come back in 12 mths for a repeat and hoping they would ve disappeared . jayden had another MRI today and another 2 have spots have shown up one size of a 10 cent coin could you please give me some insight to what this could be we see the neurologist on Monday . Concerned Mum .

As you have said that your son has multiple head injuries so this can be result of that. But without seeing the MRI no doctor can comment and give you some wrong advice or a wrong diagnosis. This increase in spots is a concern and i would advice you to consult your neurologist for that.
