What Do Purple Rashes On The Legs And Blood In Urine Indicate?

I am suspected with IgaNephropathy. Biopsy is not yet done. But the doc says my symptoms point towards that. I have purple rashes on skin(legs) and was diagnosed when i had RBC in urine. He has advised Telma and Maxepa. I do not have HIGH BP. Why is Telma suggested?

You have been suspected Ig A nephropathy. Let me know that usually in this disease sore throat posterior pharynx infection preceded before kidney involvement. So let me whether you have history of sore throat in past two week. In nephropathy proteinuria, lipiduria etc can be present so should be checked. If it is Glomerulonephritis than hypertension Can be present. So your doctor might checked your blood pressure and so telmisartan prescribed.
