Hello,
I can understand your concern. The tests you have been through are conclusive and the maximum window period for detection of HIV antibodies is 84 days after exposure so your tests indicate that there are 98% chances that you are no infected with HIV, that is the percentage offered by the best test and can be considered conclusive. 4 days of PEP drugs do not potential to cause negative test results this long after exposure even if you were positive. There is no need to go for another test until you are exposed to the risky situation again.
Now, regarding the rashes you have been suffering from, it seems that they are due to
allergic reaction and not due to HIV infection. I advise you to start antihistamines such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 10 days. If you find improvement in the rashes then you have allergic reaction to some substance you come regularly in contact with. In that case, you should go for a blood test for allergy that finds out the specific allergen you are allergic to and you can avoid that in future. If you do not find relief with medication, consulting a
dermatologist will be helpful.
The coating on the tongue can be due to inadequate hygiene of tongue or due to
fungal infection called
candidiasis. You can take antifungal medicine
Fluconazole 150 mg (Fole) once a day for 10 days for that. Take care to have optimum
oral hygiene measures by brushing teeth and tongue twice a day. Do not use mouthwash. If the coating does not resolve after this course, you should see a
dentist for physical examination of the tongue and taking culture of the white lesion of the tongue for laboratory analysis.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best,
