Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! What kind of rash can last off and on for one week? And my eye lids will swell at different times, usually One eye at a time, and usually are swollen when I first wake up. The rash is self, I believe was from contact to the detergent I had just started using. Even after eleminating the irritant, the rash will still pop up, it does seem to be worse when I get hot or have tight clothes on. Even the palms of my hands itch from time to time.
"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this-
1) Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor[dermatologist] and do allergy skin test to confirm diagnosis.
2)Discuss with your treating Doctor about antihistamine to reduce swelling and itching.
Do follow few lifestyle modifications like this-
1)Try to avoid known triggers. These may include certain foods or medications or situations such as temperature extremes that have triggered problems in the past.
2)Try to keep a diary. If you suspect food is causing the problem but aren't sure which food is the trigger, keep a food and symptom diary.
Hope that helps
