What Do Rashes On The Upper Chest And Hands Indicate?
Hi, I have what I thought was hives (self-diagnosis). It was from head to toe, the worst was my stomach which was nearly completely covered in itchy red welts. The bottoms of my feet had these sore itchy lumps in them that I could feel while walking. It had been about 15 days now and although it s a lot better, it s reappearing in patches, right now my upper chest and the back of my hands.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Skin rashes develop from various factors including infections(bacterial, fungal, viral), heat, allergens, immune system/autoimmune disorders and medications. Some common causes may include: -Atopic dermatis -pityriasis rosea -Drug rash -Heat rash -Intertrigo -cercarial dermatitis I will suggest you see a Dermatologist for evaluation and management. In the meantime, you may try the following: *God body hygiene *Avoid contact with others as condition might be contagious *Bath with an antiseptic solution like cyteal *Take an anti-histamine like loratadine *A steroidal anti-inflammatory like prednisolone Your dermatologist will take care of an etiologic management depending on cause of rash. Hope my answer will help Best regards
