What Do Recurring Blocked Ear And Loss Of Hearing Suggest?
I had pain in my ear 4 days ago, and had a bath when my ear became blocked. I went to the doctors and they gave me antibiotics for an ear infection. after 5 days on the antibiotics, I felt better and my ear became unblocked. Then this evening during my bath Ive blocked my ear again and cant hear. I am a little worried and am unsure that its an ear infection and something else. Its like everytime water is in my ear it blocks. Can you help me?
The hearing loss can be of two types as: - Conducting hearing loss - Sensorineural hearing loss
There are various reasons for both of the issues. You need to get assessed with ENT specialist and do Weber and Rinne's test to fix the type of hearing loss and further management guidelines in accordance to that only.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
