What Do Recurring, Blood Oozing Lumps On Inner Thighs And Around Testicles Suggest?
Hi.... I am 25 years old and I am from Bangalore but no work I am staying in Chennai, my problem is I have got lumps on my inner thighs, folding s and on my testicles side which is touching my thighs day by day it is spreading and now it is open and bleeding. Why is this appearing and how to get rid of this, I feel itchy often and now due to open lumps it s burning too. Plz help..... When I was in Bangalore it use to appear and vanish in 2-3 days, but now I am not able to bare the same. Is it due to Water change or climate change.
It can be local folliculitis or sometimes fungal infection may present like this. It should be evaluated by a surgeon and get the culture and sensitivity tests from the wound discharge. Also the lump should be evaluated whether it's an enlarged lymph node or hernia. Ultrasound of lump followed by biopsy may be needed. Rarely tuberculosis may present like this in local area. Meanwhile OTC analgesic like acetaminophen or ibuprofen may help with inflammation and pain but oral and topical antibiotics like Fudic acid may be needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
