What Do Recurring Bouts Of Vomiting And Flu In A Child Indicate?

Our 3 yr. Old has had many bouts of vomiting for 1-2 days . Doesn t appear to be flu, as no one else gets it. Last night he threw up at 8pm and many times in the night. This morning ate a few bites of toast and water. Always wants water, but has not kept anything down. This morning after the bites, we thought to take his blood sugar. It was 179. He has not kept water, or pedialite down. His blood sugar tonight is 109. We tested because he always wants water. Friends had a kit allowing us to check. It s time for bed. He has been totally listless all day. Is his level scarey for us to go to sleep.

Consult a pediatrician and get evaluated. We have to rule out possible causes like gastroenteritis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
