Hi.. Thanks for the query.. White patches on tongue are commonly due to fungal Infection or oral thrush.. However the red patches if they are smooth and change the position then it can be geographic tongue.. So for confirmation I would like to see the pictures. As of now you can gargle with specialised mouthwash like Magic mouthwash.. Do warm saline gargles.. Take Vitamin B complex supplement..
