What Do Red Bumps On The Buttocks Indicate?

red bumps!! hello I have been having these red bumps for the past couple of days on my butt cheeks near my rectum. they do not brother me except when something touches them then they itch really bad. I do have a history of HSV-1 but this does not seem like it because they are red and do not burn/itch all the time. what can this be?? I have no other signs or symptoms

Hi,

It looks like bacterial infection like furunculosis. Use good antiseptic cream like Soframycin to apply locally on your butt cheeks. It will heal soon.
