hi i have red itchy bites on my legs, back, chest, arms, stomach, and hands , i went to my doctor and he prescribed me Triamcinolone acetonide cream and its not working its making me itch more and the bites get redder what is it how do i get rid of whatever i have?
It seems that most probably you may be having lichen urticatus..also called papular urticaria. It may be considered as hypersensitive reaction to insects like bed bug, flea, mosquito or else...
I would like to advise to consult Dermatologist for firm diagnosis and firm treatment.
After perfect examination, he might suggest antihistaminics like levocetirizine and oral steroids in tappering doses. And he might suggest to apply steroid with antibiotic cream.
You should take all precautions to protect from bites of insects. You may be alright after few weeks treatment.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
