About 2 months ago, I began noticing small red itchy dots on my legs. I didn t think much of them, until a month later when they kept appearing on my legs, stomach, chest, back and arms. There were a few areas that grew to the size of a quarter and one spot that grew that grew to the size of my hand. A week ago I went to my doctor and was told it was a staph infection. She prescribed me medicine for it and I have been taking it as instructed. I have washed my towels and changed washcloths. I have, however, failed to resist to scratch at times. Since I have been taking my medicine, I have seen improvements but I have also seen the opposite. This morning, I woke up with small red dots on my upper body. It almost looks like chicken pox but I m almost certain it is not that. It is very itchy and I don t know if it is part of the staph. I have considered that maybe I m just having an allergic reaction the medicine but I m also worried that I may have started treatment too late and this could be something worse, like MRSA perhaps. I have been feeling ill lately, and I have had a pounding headache for over 24 hours now. I m not sure if that is important information or not. I don t know what s going on or what this could be. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
