Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve developed red spots beneath my breast, on my abdomen, a few on top of my thigh and a few on the small of my back. They don t itch, but I seem to have infected myself when I scratched an itch. The spots look shiny at a certain angle. They are very slightly raised, but I would not call them bumps. They re flat. I ve been putting decolorized iodine on them twice a day. They spread for a few days, but now they seem to be stable. But they re also not going away. I read on this site about the symptoms of scabies and they don t fit. Any opinions?

What Do Red Spots Below The Breasts Indicate?
Hello, Most probably it is due to fungal infection like seborrhoea. As a first line management, you can apply topical antifungal like Clotrimazole for symptomatic relief. If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
