What Do Red Spots On The Urethral Opening Indicate?

I have a small group of dark purple-red, pimple looking spots on my urethra opening on my penis. I’m a virgin and I’ve had them for a while but over time I’ve noticed there has been 1 or 2 more. It doesn’t hurt to pee and it isn’t irritating or itchy but occasionally I get discharge. What could it be? Can I transmit it to someone else? Will they go away?

Hello,

It can be most likely Fordyce Spots if you do not have any sexual encounter before. Fordyce spots are sebaceous prominences and are harmless. Using Aloe Vera gel helps.

If you send the picture of lesions, then it will be more helpful in identifying.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad BN
