What Do Repeated Breakthrough Bleedings During Post Menopausal Stage Suggest?
56 yr old with a 2nd incident of post menopausal breakthrough bleeding. Transvagainal us -posterior fundal fibroid decreased since 2008. A second small rt fundal subserosal fibroid 1.5. Endometrial complex mild thickened and heterogeneous measuring 5.2 mm AP thickness.Ovaries fine. Had a endometrial uterine bx in the office showed paucity findings. Both parents had and died of a cancer. Concerned. What next?
I think you may need D and C procedure and biopsy of endothelial cells. I believe that hysterectomy may be needed due to several fibrinoids and bleeding.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
