General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The sharp pain lower abdomen post C section may be from various clinical conditions such as:
- Residual collection in the pelvis giving rise to infection or inflammation
- Post operative adhesions involving bladder, colon and uterus
- Endometriosis
- Others

Kindly get an ultrasound examination of the abdomen and pelvis done after consulting your operating surgeon (OBGYN) for best evaluation of the underlying cause and manage accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
