What Do Shortness Of Breath And Tingling Sensation In The Arms Indicate?
I have chest pressure, like a ton of bricks on my chest, shortness of breath, weakness, and now my right arm is tingling numb. Also arythemia. Months ago I went to the hospital and they said I didn t have a heart attack. A cardiologist follow up did a holter monitor and did not find anything. My symptoms are worse. Excericse is tough, I have to rest everyday because of the chest pain and weakness and dizziness. Should I go to another hospital and Doctor?
Yes, you should be reassessed to make sure that the there are no changes to the heart that can be causing your symptoms.
A holter should have shown if there are areas of the heart with decreased blood supply or any enlargement. It would have also assessed the rate and rhythm of the heart as well.
If it is confirmed that the heart is not contributing to your chest pain may have to consider another cause. Chest pain can be related to any structure in the chest from the skin inwards- skin, muscles, bones esophagus, lungs.
Anxiety is also a cause of chest pain that is considered if other causes are ruled out.
I hope this helps
