What Do Skin Tags On The Skin Indicate?

I have tiny flat, orange tear-dropped shaped things on and under my skin. At we first noticed them in our sinks, and then began seeing them on our skin. They then proceeded to burrow under our skin all over our bodies. I have been completely unable to find any information about them anywhere on the web.
