What Do Slight Discomfort Near The Chest And Loss Of Appetite Indicate?

I have a slight niggling sensation from time to time in the right side of my chest with occasional lose of appetite. I have had ECG and blood tests as well as chest x Ray. I do smoke but very little maybe a pack every 2 days. It comes and goes. I haven t had any normal body weight changes. Any ideas

It would be better to get a lung function done. If there would be a significant abnormality the chest X-ray would pick it up.
