Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have a cluster of small blisters on my arm. It s the third time I have had them in over 2 years.. They may look like herpes, but they don t hurt, they just itch a little when covered. It just seems like such an unlikely place for a herpes outbreak, especially since I have never had any other outbreak anywhere else... I have lived in hot sunny places by the coast, cold climates in Scandinavia and now I am in Phoenix, all in the past 2 years, so a sunrash seems unlikely also...
Your symptoms seem to be related to dyshidrotic eczema. I suggest you to use calmine lotion or cortisone cream for local relief. If the symptoms continue you should visit a dermatologist for a physical examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
