What Do Small Bumps In The Vagina Indicate?

I am a 58 yr old woman and I just discovered a condition on the outer edges of my vagina. A small pertruding , black pimply thing . a closer look showed about 20 more irregular shaped black things right under the skin on both sides of outer vagina lips. What is it?

hi mam,as per your description,they appear to be warts caused by human papilloma virus.usually they wont be painful.but i suggest you to go for a pap smear.i just want to give you some information regarding cervical cancer screening.please dont panic and your condition is not that.screening helps very early detection and initiation of treatment,thus preventing further complications.pap smear is the screening procedure.please consult a gynecologist and have the pap smear done.take care.bye.
