What Do Small Bumps On The Roof Of The Mouth Indicate?

I just had a tooth extraction on Thursday (4 days ago). The pain is still there, but getting a little better. My main question is, on the same side that my extraction was I now have small bumps all over the roof of my mouth in addition to the painful and swelling gums. Should this concern me?

Dentist 's  Response
Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Swollen and painful gums along with bps on roof of mouth are all appearing to be due to Infection at the extraction site..

So it is better to get a clinical examination done by your Dentist..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics like Augmentin ( Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium) along with anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Also gargle with antiseptic mouthwash like Chlorhexidine..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
