Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to provided history your son is having small size RBC so he can have microcytic blood picture of RBC. Kindly let me know your full CBC report along with HB value. Microcytic hypochromic anemia should be ruled out as per history and for that your full CBC report with peripheral smear examination has to be seen. If microcytic hypochromic anaemia is specially iron deficiency anemia present from Blood picture then iron tablet can be prescribed for that.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
