What Do Soreness In The Body, Muscle Pain And Heart Rate Of 150 Indicate?
I m an 18 year old girl, 100 lbs or less. My heart rate is at 150 and my entire body is very sore to the touch. My muscles in my legs feel tight (no workouts in the past few days) and an experiencing tightness on my left side of chest the my left of the breast and slight inconsistent pain on the right side of my left breast. I have had a constantly high heart rate and muscle tenderness for a few months. But my heart rate is at 150 should I go to the hospital ?
Yes, you should definitely go to hospital and find out the cause for tachycardia. In my opinion, you should get done blood reports like CBC (complete blood count) and thyroid function test (TFT) to rule out anemia and hyperthyroidism.
Also get done ecg, 2d echo and Holter monitoring (24 hours continuous recording of Ecg) to rule out heart diseases. If all these are normal then no need to worry much. In teenagers, undiagnosed stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms. So avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Don't worry, you will be alright but first rule out other causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
