What Do Spots In The Lungs Indicate?
My sister-in-law was just dx d with lung CA, Saw an oncologist today who thinks she also has ovarian CA. She has sev. spots on R lung. I m assuming the CA originated in her ovary and mestastisized into lung. She is seeing a gynacologist tonight at hop. What would the TX normally be for these CA s?

Yes.. the multiple spots in lung seem to be metastasis of primary cancer lesion in body ( here the ovarian cancer)
Treatment of such patient depend on the age of the patient/ over all health of patient/ the site, size & type of primary cancer .
Most of the times chemotherapy is treatment of choice in these patients & treatment of her primary ovarian cancer ( surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy )
