What Do Swelling And Discomfort Around The Right Ankle Indicate?

Thank You, I am 67, exercise daily, walking cycling on an incumbent. I noticed ongoing discomfort in the lower part of my right ankle ( lol) right under the bone. swelling at times ( nite) discomfort and almost a pinching feeling Quite often I will feel a stabbing pain, and often, if I put pressure on it as I lay down, I experience discomfort. Of course, I am healthy but this seems to be chronic. I am not a complainer, this has me a bit concerned....
