Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I flew yesterday I have been left with very swollen neck glands and bunged up synes and it’s hard to breathe . This also happened when I flew last year ? Is this something that can happen because of flying ? And what can I do to help it ? Thank you
You are absolutely right. During flying, Sinus problems and ear canal problems generally aggravates. I think because of sinusitis, it is difficult you to breathe. The cause for your lymph node swelling is Sinusitis only.
For blocked nose, you can use Nasoclear nasal drops. I will suggest you to consult with physician if you have fever. You can eat chewing gum or do Valsalva manure during flight, this will help you. Along with that, you can take steam inhalation twice a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
