What Do Swollen Lymph Nodes On The Right Side Of Neck Suggest?
I am a 37 year old female and I have a swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck and a lump behind my neck. I have had the lump for about a year and the swollen lymph node for a year and a half. i went to an ear/nose/throat dr but he didn t do much. Just asked if I had any cold symptoms and send me on my way. I had a scam done which confirmed that I have an unknown mass in the back of my neck and a lymph node swollen on the side of my neck. But no other tests have been done since then. Lately I feel some pain in my neck but I m not sure if it s due to the mass. What do you think this could be? And should I be worried? Please advice me, I don t know what else to do, I feel like the dr s I ve seen are not concerned but I am. I do suffer from Barrets esophagus, gastritis, and irritable bowels. I need some kind of advice please. Thank you, DL
You should have a full blood count to check the white cell count. White cell count is sometimes elevated with enlargement of lymph nodes and it can possibly provide a clue to determine the cause.
