What Do The X-ray Test Results Suggest?

hello Dr. my health Dr. prescribe my mother a chest Xray....and in her report it is write- fibrocalcified opacities in both lung field,both extensive in right lower zone and in last also give advise- kindly correlate clinically ............what does it means Dr.....is there aqny problem or allright

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Fibrocalcified opacities in lower lung fields on both sides has following differentials.
1.Pulmonary fibrosis
2. Past Tuberculosis infection
3. allergic alevolitis
4. malignancy
Needs proper history and examination that will correlate chest Xray findings with above differntials.
Your doctor may go for CT chest and bronchoscopy to reach at exact diagnosis.
