What Do The Following Blood Pressure Readings Indicate?
I had a heart attack on June 5 and was hospitalised until June 9. My at home blood pressure readings are below normal ( 118-123 over 65-75) for me having sometimes dropping as low as 74 over 35 after a period of inactivity. After walking for 10 minutes it will return to a high of 90 to 100 systolic. I feel weak and tired most of the time. I have an appointment with my PCP on 6/20 but I wonder if I can be enlightened somewhat before then. Should I have blood enzymes checked? email: xtwa747capt@ gmail.com

Hi,
You are right this BP is too low. Many drugs that are used after heart attack lower the BP. So probably that is the reason. Some of these drugs can be stopped while others are necessary.
Some can be changed. Your PCP would manage that. Heart also becomes weak after an attack that might also be one reason, but that's not common. cause of low BP. It's mostly the drugs.
