General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
June 2016 LFT report is suggesting a two fold increase in liver enzymes namely SGOT, SGPT and alkaline phosphatase. This indicates that you could be having liver dysfunction due to intake of fatty food and alcohol.
Following treatment after a month, the liver enzymes SGOT and SGPT have reached normal levels.
However, your October 2016 report is indicating that SGOT and SGPT is showing a bit of increasing trend. This could have been caused due to intake of alcohol.
Hence, it would be better for you to stop intake of alcohol and fatty foods completely. Supplement by taking healthy diet and more of fluids in the diet. Exercise regularly to keep your body fit and healthy.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
Wish you good health.
