What Do The Following Test Results Indicate?

Dear Doctor! After 12 weeks and 5 days (GA) my levels are the following: FBHCG: 115,96 ng/ml Papp-A: 12,81 mIU/ml NT: 1,8mm Would you please calculate my Moms (because the GA what they calculated my original results with were wrong, they used 13 week 1 day), so I think my Mom markers are alsow wrong due to the wrong GA, Thanks in advance!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The single value of BHCG is not very important as compared to a sequential titre rise.
BHCG is secreted by corpus luteum and placenta, only when the uterus is gravid, and it 's titres get double in 2 to 3 days. As the levels are up, sonographic dating would be more appropriate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
