What Do The Reports After Car Accident Indicate?

i would like to know what all this means, I was in a car accident. but here s some of what it states, degenerative changes with central osteophyte/disc complex c3-4 and c4-5, resulting in marked stenosis at these levels including effacement of the thecal sac, mild mass effect on the cervical cord with signal abnormality within intramedullary portion of the cervical cord at these levels, consistent with areas of myelomalacia/edema

Thanks for writing in.

It looks like you have been involved in a bad car crash and sustained significant injury. The report findings say that the discs at two levels (C 3 - C 4 and C 4 - C 5) are showing degenerative changes which includes pressure on the spinal canal posteriorly. Even the cervical portion of spinal cord is showing changes which are consistent with injury. You need adequate rest and physiotherapy if you are having limitations in your daily activities. Severe pressure on the cord may require surgical intervention depending on the clinical symptoms.
