What Do The Ultrasound Reports Indicate?

I just had an ultrasound and these were the findings. Can you explian them a little more clearly for me? Faint tiny hyperechoic foci in the mid/inferior pole of the right kidney may represent stones versus cortical calcifications. 2. Small echogenic focus in the mid/lower pole right kidney may represent a small stone or an angiomyolipoma

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and thanks for writing.

The Ultrasonography report suggests either a renal stone or a growth. This needs further evaluation. I suggest you get in touch witha urologist who may advise you to undergo a CT Scan to get a clearer picture of the same. So in brief you should get it checked.
