What Do The Ultrasound Results Of A Child For Excessive Vaginal Bleeding Indicate?
my daughter (20 years old)has had excessive vaginal bleeding for months. I was able to relocate and obtain health insurance. One of the first things we did was schedule an ultra sound. She sent me a screen shot of the results and it read: no endometrial thickening is noted. small amount of fluid is noted within the endometrial canal with small echogenic foci which may represent clot or possible polyp. Consider further evaluation with sonohysterogram for confirmation prior to hysteroscopy. endometrial sampling should also be considered if patient is at high risk for endometrial carcinoma. Please help. What does this mean?
