What Do These BP Readings While On Accupril Indicate?

I am on accupril and take 20 mg at night and 10 mg in the morning. Th last 3 days I have had readings of 138/98....167/106....154/103....156/105. I currently have bronchits. Should I be increasing my meds. Go to ten doctor or emergency room. Or keep monitoring it before taking any action

Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-:
1)You have not mentioned your age,pressure reading should be less than 140/85 mmhg if you are less than 40 years of age.
2)As per measurement your reading is little high so tell your doctor to increase dose and give you 2 different drugs at a time.
3)Reduce sodium in diet
4)Do regular exercise to control your weight
5)Check blood sugar and lipid profile ,kidney and liver function test
