What Do These Blood Sugar, BP And Heart Rate Values Indicate?

This morning I ate a pancake with banana, syrup and a 12 oz glass of orange juice an hour later I was talking and nearly passed out while standing. I drank another large glass of orange juice and 20 minutes later my blood sugar was 89. My blood pressure was 91/53 and heart rate 73. The blood pressure is usually those numbers. Is the reason I felt faint due possibly to low blood sugar?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is quite possible that your symptoms were due to low blood sugar.

Low blood sugar refers to readings less than 70 but your value would have been taken 20 mins after a meal/drink so it may have been lower prior to this.

If this symptoms recur, you may want to check the blood sugar reading prior to using any food/drink to note the value.

If you are experiencing hypoglycemia then you may need to be assessed. This would likely require blood tests such as liver function tests, bloods taking a look at the pancreas.

I hope this helps
