I AM A 27 YEAR OLD MALE. I HAD SOME ROUTINE BLOOD WORK FOR LIFE INSURANCE PURPOSES. TEST CAME BACK WITH THE FOLLOWING LEVELS. ALK. PHOS. 129, AST (SGOT) 60, ALT (SGPT) 92, GGT (GGTP) 387, CHOLESTEROL 219, CHOL/HDL CHOL RATIO 5.8, TRIGLYCERIDES 457. THE INSURANCE LADY SAID I SHOULD RUN NOT WALK TO THE NEARES DOCTOR. AS THE INSURANCE LADY ISN'T A DOCTOR HERSELF, HOW SERIOUS ARE THESE RESULTS?

If you do not have any clinical symptoms then this is just nothing to worry because the test reports are within normal limits if you are over weight then some lipid related test would be on higher side, hope this information helps, exercise would help to reduce the elevated values, hope this information helps.
