Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Do These Creatinine And Cholesterol Levels Indicate?
Hello, I am 28 years old, 185 cm and 91 kg. I normally train 4 times a week and before doing this test I was on moderate protein, high fat and low carb diet. Also I used 15gr gluetamine, 30 gr whey protein, 5gr creatine per day. This is my lab test and I was wondering if there is something to be concerned about. Link to my lab test if it s needed or for more convenience: http://prnt.sc/cg6fn9 Urea Serum : 42 Creatinine 1.19 Uric Acid 5.3 Cholestrol 149 Triglycerides 51 HDL 45 LDL 82 SGOT 33 SGPT 41 Alkaline Phosphatase 148 Calscium 9.3 Phosporus 3.8 TSH 1.9 FSH 2.7 Testestrone 2.3 T4 111
Your creatinine level is in the higher limits. This may be due to muscle mass or high protein intake in some cases and may be the reason for you as well. There are other tests that the doctor may order to clarify if the increase in creatinine is due to kidney function problems or due to exercise or high intake protein. Another way to determine this is to reduce the amount of exercise and protein intake you have daily and repeat the test.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
