General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

DKA is a medical condition affecting multiple organ systems. It can cause rapid changes in the body electrolytes( sodium and potassium) and blood gas parameters.

Blood glucose level should be monitored at frequent intervals along with ABG( blood gas analysis). Nothing much to worry and your treatment is in the right track.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
