CLINICALLY Swelling LT. Lobe thyroid, Nodule ms,44x33x23mm size, with small cystic changes USG SITE OF ASPIRATION Thyroid, Nodule Macroscopic Aspirate. Blood Mix MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION Smear is showing mainly Blood In between there are many normal size follicular epithelial cell seen scattered in sheets, small clumps, & single. At places few oxyphilic cell also seen, there are many macrophages present, No atypical cell seen. The cytological features are suggestive of Nodular Goiter with cystic degenerative changes Thyroid, CONCLUSION Nodular Goiter with cystic degenerative changes Thyroid. Advised Biopsy for confirmation of diagnosis.
